Functions and Events.co.nz is a division of the Barworks Hospitality Group providing venue hire for your function and event requirements.  With fifteen Auckland venues and one in Christchurch, Functions and Events.co.nz have large and small venues to suit many occasions. Vision

We aim to provide businesses and customers with multiple venue options in Auckland and Christchurch to suit their requirements. Functions and Events.co.nz aims to provide a high standard of service and level of professionalism to our guests at all times.

Our Mission

To provide a range of venues with relaxed, professional atmospheres where both companies and individuals feel comfortable holding their function or event, and enjoy their experiences so much they return time and time again.

Our Team

The Functions and Events.co.nz team consists of Xanthe Smythe – our Sales Executive, and on site Function Coordinators and Managers as well as our dedicated staff who execute the functions.  Our team strives for excellence in everything they do, to make your function or event successful and memorable.

Our service teams are trained to provide top quality service from our in-house HR and Training Manager, who focuses on ensuring staff are well equipped to provide a fantastic drinking and dining experience to our guests.  Training workshops focus on customer service skills, menu knowledge, wine, cocktail and management training.  Development courses are in place to assist our staff advance their careers in the hospitality industry.

Our kitchen teams are lead by our Executive Chef, who oversees and advises on all menus.  All venues provide on site catering for functions and events with made to order meals and dietary requirements catered for.
